ambassador program

The ISSCR is accepting applications for the ISSCR 2027 Ambassador Program. Applications are due 23 October 2026. 

ISSCR 2027 Ambassadors will be responsible for posting about the ISSCR 2027 Annual Meeting on their personal social media accounts at least two (2) times per month prior to the ISSCR 2027 Annual Meeting on 15-18 June 2027. The ISSCR will provide graphics and suggested language and encourages Ambassadors to include specific aspects of the event that they are most looking forward to in order to personalize their posts.  

ISSCR 2027 Ambassadors will receive:

  • Recognition on the ISSCR2027.org website, on a dedicated social media post, and on a walk-in slide onsite at the meeting as an official ISSCR 2027 Ambassador 

  • An official ISSCR 2027 Ambassador Certificate and Formal Letter of Recognition from the ISSCR President 

  • An invitation to a networking meet-up at ISSCR 2027 

Eligibility requirements:

  • ISSCR 2027 Ambassadors must have an active ISSCR membership through 2027. Invoicing for 2027 membership will begin 5 October 2026.  

  • ISSCR 2027 Ambassadors must be an early career investigator in the early part of their independent career in stem cell research. This encompasses early career investigators who are seven or fewer years out from their first full-time assistant professorship or equivalent position in academic, industry/biotech/pharma or clinical research. Extension for parental leave or other extenuating circumstances will be considered.
