host an ancillary meeting

The ISSCR welcomes partners and members of the stem cell community to schedule an ancillary meeting before, during, and after the ISSCR 2027 Annual Meeting by completing this form. 

An ancillary meeting is defined as any non-ISSCR-sponsored meeting, workshop, reception, or social event being held during the ISSCR 2027 Annual Meeting. All ancillary meeting coordinators must fill out the requested form, whether they would like to use space provided by the ISSCR or not. Ancillary meetings must not conflict with the ISSCR event(s) listed in the Guidelines below.

Request an Ancillary Meeting

guidelines & deadlines for ancillary meetings 

  • For events that require meeting space at the convention center (provided by ISSCR), the last day to submit a request is Tuesday, 27 April 2027, 5:00 PM EST

  • For events held outside of the convention center, the last day to submit a request is Wednesday, 26 May 2027, 5:00 PM EST

  • The ISSCR will not grant approval or release meeting space for events that conflict with the following planned event(s):  

    • Welcome Reception on Tuesday, 15 June 2027 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM PST (time subject to change)

    • All-Attendee Reception on Wednesday, 16 June 2027 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM PST (time subject to change)

  • The ISSCR reserves the right to honor or refuse meeting space requests.  

  • If applicable, please include a copy of your event invitation with the completed request form.  

  • After your event is held, ISSCR will contact you to provide the final attendance and total amount spent in USD.  

ancillary meetings in ISSCR-provided venue space

  • The ISSCR has limited space available at the Moscone West Convention Center during the meeting dates of 15-18 June 2027.  

  • The ISSCR will try to accommodate space requests at the convention center on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability and approval. Events cannot be held in the Moscone West Convention Center outside the hours of the ISSCR program.

  • If approved, an administrative fee of $250 USD will apply so long as the request is submitted before 27 April 2027.  

  • Requests received after 27 April 2027 will be subject to a $350 USD administrative fee if approved. 

    • Any last-minute requests for meeting space that are made onsite between 15-18 June 2027 may not be accommodated and are subject to availability and ISSCR approval. Audio visual and catering services will not be available for last-minute, onsite requests for meeting space. 

  • All approved requests are subject to space availability. The ISSCR cannot guarantee the availability of your preferred (or alternate) dates/times and may make alternative recommendations based on available space and prior confirmed ancillary events.  

  • If your meeting requires catering and/or audio-visual equipment, ISSCR staff will put you in direct contact with ISSCR vendors for arrangements and billing. These services are not included in the space rental and the ISSCR will not organize these elements on your behalf.
